Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese dance performed during the summer festival season, especially to honor ancestors’ spirits. It often features rhythmic moves in a circle, accompanied by festive music and drums.
You don’t need to dance formally or precisely. The main idea is to join the dance circle and enjoy yourself.
The Bon Odori performance unit “Bonjo“, which means Bon ladies, has created a Star Wars themed Bon Odori for this Bash. Let’s all dance together!

盆踊りは、夏祭りのシーズンに行われる伝統的な日本の踊りで、特に先祖の霊を敬うために踊られます。多くの場合、リズミカルな動きを円になって行い、賑やかな音楽や太鼓の音に合わせて踊ります。
形式ばって正確に踊る必要はありません。基本は踊りの輪に入って楽しむことです。
盆踊りのパフォーマンスユニット「盆女」(盆踊りレディースの意味)が、このBashのためにスター・ウォーズをテーマにした盆踊りを作ってくれました。みんなで一緒に踊りましょう！
