Renowned game composer Ayako Saso, the creator of numerous iconic tracks, will be joining us at the Bash! A former member of the 501st Legion and a dear friend of ours, she’s bringing her incredible talent back to our community.
For this special Bash, she will perform original music crafted exclusively for the event. Get ready to enjoy a unique musical experience during her DJ set—an unforgettable moment awaits!
She also did a special remix of the Bon-dance music that we all will be dancing to at the Bash. (Of course, you’ve already practiced the Bon-dance, right?)
Ayako Saso – Profile
Since 1989, Ayako Saso has been actively involved in creating game music. From composing and arranging music and sound effects for arcade and console games to producing works as an arranger and contributing to TV commercials and video productions, she has made her mark across various fields.
Her notable works include the Ridge Racer series, Street Fighter EX series, Custom Robo, NARUTO: Gekitou Ninja Taisen series, as well as contributions to rhythm games like beatmania IIDX, Taiko no Tatsujin, Groove Coaster, Chunithm, DJ MAX, and many more titles.
In the realm of anime music, she has worked on soundtracks for TABOO TATTOO, No Game No Life, and Keroro. While most of her credits appear under her real name Ayako Saso, she is sometimes credited as SamplingMasters AYA depending on the project.
Her recent works include contributions to TEKKEN 8 and FOREVER BLUE LUMINOUS, among others. Additionally, she occasionally appears at club events and game music-related events.
She is a fan of dance music, especially ’90s techno, and is active in game-themed club events under the moniker “DJ Modoki.” Recently, her experience playing in a wind orchestra during her student years has led her to participate in wind ensembles and even create original music for wind orchestras.
